Comprehensive sexuality education is a rights-based and gender-focused approach to sexuality education, regardless of whether it is in school or outside of school. It is taught over several years, providing age-appropriate information that is consistent with the evolving capacities of young people. The aim is to provide people with the knowledge, attitudes, skills, and values necessary to make appropriate and healthy choices in their lives.
